Who We Are

NARRCI was founded by Anthony and Christine Maestas out of a shared appreciation for the remarkable history, symbolism, craftsmanship, and cultural significance of Rudraksha. What began as a personal journey of learning gradually grew into a desire to create a welcoming resource where others could explore these traditions with confidence and clarity.

We see ourselves as lifelong students—researchers, caretakers, and educators committed to learning alongside the broader community. We believe wisdom flourishes most when ideas can be examined openly, respectfully, and with humility.

Our hope is that every person who visits NARRCI feels less like they are entering an institution and more like they are being welcomed into a thoughtful conversation. Whether you stay for a few minutes or become part of the community for years to come, we are grateful that our paths have crossed.

My hope, and perhaps the Ultimate Goal here, is that people become more conscious and aware beings.
